You are probably disappointed that your spring travel plans have been put on hold due to Coronavirus. However, you can still put your RV to good use. Here are 3 ways to use your RV during Coronavirus that are conducive to social distancing.
Provide Care From Your RV
If you have a loved one who has fallen ill, care for them from a safe distance to protect yourself. Instead of staying in the same house, park your RV on their property so that you can be of assistance while self-isolating. You can provide groceries and supplies and check on your sick loved one while living in your RV.
Self-Quarantine in Your RV During Coronavirus
If you have tested positive for COVID-19, feel sick, or have just returned from a Coronavirus hotspot, you should self-quarantine for 14 days. To isolate yourself from your family who is living in the house, hunker down in your RV. Your RV has everything you need during your quarantine, like a comfortable place to sleep and eat, climate control, storage for groceries and clothes, and a bathroom.
Stay Away From Busy Cities
Practice social distancing by taking your RV to a remote area, away from any big cities. If you choose to go to a RV park or campground, call first and make sure it is open. Make sure that the sites are far apart from one another so that you can isolate yourself from anyone else there. This is a great way to use your RV during Coronavirus, especially if you are currently unemployed and live in a densely populated area. If you are able to work online, find an RV park that has WiFi.
